I've been writing music for professional theatre, community theatre, radio and TV since 1986. I write for live instruments or compose pre-recorded soundtracks and sometimes both. I've written songs/ music for TIE tours and straight drama and I like to incorporate sound effects in the mix. My community shows have all involved choirs and I particularly like to arrange for unaccompanied voices. Recently I've started including some of my own songs in my set.

I currently direct and arrange music for an acapella choir in Perth - Craigie Community Choir (used to do something similer for the Belfast Festival Community Choir). We sing for fun and we mainly try to do unacompanied versions of Rock Classics. Last year we got down to the last 28 choirs in the BBC Television competition 'Last Choir Standing' which for a 'non-performing choir' was a bit of a surprise!
